WHO WE ARE

We are a capacity building organization empowering leaders in rural Haiti to better support women and girls in their communities .
WHAT WE DO

SANTE TIFI CURRICULUM
We provide a culturally appropriate reproductive health curriculum tailored to the Haitian rural context, respecting of local norms and values. The goal of the STH curriculum is to empower girls with knowledge and skills to make informed, safe decisions.
EWO SANTE Training
Through our fast-paced reproductive health training, local leaders, teachers, and facilitators who feel unequipped gain the confidence and resources they need to effectively educate women and girls in the community they serve.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
We offer technical and pedagogical support. We conduct a community needs assessment alongside local leaders to identify knowledge gaps and determine the resources needed to effectively launch the curriculum. Teachers are fully supported throughout the rollout process, ensuring they have the materials and guidance necessary for successful implementation.
In order for women and girls in Haiti to reclaim their power, it starts with gaining bodily autonomy .
Our theory of change
Regardless of their status as the backbone of the economy, Haitian women bear the largest burden of inequities and are denied bodily autonomy. 1 in 4 Haitian girls experience some type of sexual abuse before the age of 18, and 1 in 3 women experience gender-based violence. The reality for women and girls living in rural communities is worse, as they bear the largest burden of ostracism and inequities. Our objective is to make reproductive health education accessible, culturally respectful, and to tackle gender-based violence by fostering allyship. We provide teenagers with a solid foundation so they can make informed decisions in their reproductive health years.

Our Strategy
Sante Tifi is a capacity building organization. We focus on strengthening existing youth platforms.
Our afterschool sexual, reproductive health and gender-based violence project equip our partnering schools with the tools they need to increase reproductive health literacy and break cultural barriers favoring gender based violence. We provide codified SRH and GBV curricula adapted to the rural context of Haiti. Furthermore we train local teachers and volunteers to run the programs and provide technical support to enhance delivery .

We are creating sustainable change in the communities we serve. Our approach is for the community and by the community.
